Pipe Jacking
Pipe Jacking is a technique for installing a pipeline through a bore, created by a shield machine,which is hydraulically jacked from a drive shaft.
The jacking shield consists of a steel cylinder from which the excavation of the bore is carried out.
Advantages
• Minimal surface disruption
• Noise level and traffic disruption are minimal compared to the conventional
method
